Back to the Caberet to explain to staff that their computers weren’t working, and they refused again, asking us (rather rudely) to “leave the floor.” Ridiculous. Finally found two nice men who also couldn’t make the computers work. Hotel reception sent us around the corner with a tiny scrap of paper I couldn’t read. We were directed to the hotel to look for computers where I could update my license on line. My drivers license had expired by a few days (I’m 60 years old), so they wouldn’t let me in. The reason for our visit was to see our friend’s band perform in the Caberet.
Then fun at the blackjack tables with friendly dealers. A lovely dinner celebrating my birthday at Blackfish with friends, attentive service and a nice bottle of wine.
